It's all about food! Many of you claim that I eat alot ya? (Kenny, I heard you are one of them)Yes yes I do! And I'm loving it!! The way to keep a man's heart is through his stomach. This saying applies to moi too.
1) 3 STARS
First up! California Pizza @ Forum with the old folks for Yue Hong's birthday. Heard of Peking Duck Pizza?? Voila, here it is! The name may sound weird but this familiar taste actually blends so well with the crust. A wonderful creation when West meets East. MUST TRY!!!

2) 2.5 STARS
Talking about dessert, I must mention the Project Shop Cafe @ Paragon. What I've ordered was insanely sweet that it gave me brain freeze. Now I know that not only coldness freezes your brain, overdosage of sugar too. I can't remember the name of it. All I could recall was that the originally sweet chocolate cake was swimming in a pool of chocolate syrup. Flooded! Perhaps the chef found it not up to his standard, so he decided to add a scoop of vanilla ice cream too. It was sooooooooooooo sweet that even after drinking the super duper-sweet pineapple juice, I could still taste the chocs. Sore throat came shortly after that...

Dinner with Chew and Meinu at Cafe Cartel. Many of you should have known by now the servings are huge, so share. Haha but most of the time, I enjoy satisying myself with the flow of bread. That's considered my portion. hahaha.

The milkshake may not be as nice as Billy Bomber's, but it's definitely good enough for Meinu to order one full sinful glass for herself. hehee.
Tender tender pork chop, crispy wedges with curry sauce (?) and grilled Dory.
4) 3.5 STARS
A German restaurant in Vivocity that's fanstatic with good beer, good sausages, good services and good crowd-- Brotzeit German Bier Bar and Restaurant. There's been several corporate events being held there, so you can expect good stuff.
HIS. The curry sauce was kind of disappointing. It tasted more like bottled sweet chilli sauce.
MINE. Veal sausage with LOTS of herbs.

Michelangelo's @ Chip Bee Gardens (Jalan Merah Saga, opposite Holland Village, near POSB). Gerald and I are full of praises for this award-winning Italian restaurant. He had Penne Sambuca (spicy shrimp penne) while I chose erm I forgot.. hahaha. It's in Italian! Oh, if you are interested in bringing your love one to a place where you love birds can steal some secret kisses here and there, this is a good choice. haha. Warm and cosy ambience. Kinda sexy too. =)
6) 4 STARS
IVORY- The Indian Kitchen is an absolute great selection by Nardev to celebrate his birthday. I love curry, so it's the best choice ever! Though the lighting was too dim to see the food distinctly, and every dish looks the same, it's yum yum all the way! Everyone was practically nodding their heads while they ate. If you are someone who likes plain-tasting dishes, this may not be a recommendation for you. All the curries, herbs and cheese, would most probably be too strong for ya. ( hopefully the photographs taken by Joy will come in soon!)
7) 4 STARS
Sebastien's @ Greenwood Avenue was another amazing restaurant I visited. It's time for some seductive french food!! Surprisingly, it's another restaurant by the Les Amis group.
Entrees-- Salade de Margret de Canard Fume ( Smoked duck breast salad with pear tart) and Tuna salad.
Mains--Fricassee de Riz, veau aux Girolles ( Veal sweetbread fricassee with Girolles mushrooms) and Raviolis de crabe, sauce au Champagne (Crab Rivoli with Champagne sauce).
Ooohlalalala.. amazing stuff. Despite frequent visits to Italian restaurants, it's my first time to a french one. I love it! Something different, something worth spending on once in a while. The setting was lovely too. Edith Piaf singing at the background, sweet-smelling wine and bread lingering in the air...nice...
